I worked on the BSP shaders that were used in these screenshots. This involved the R&D for blending the layers and ecotope effects like sand and moss. Converting the textures so they work with the colorize process so everything connects more closely to the terrain colors.
For these paintings, selected through our collaboration with Rijksmuseum, we set up a process to age them a bit but still look readable and look good at a close distance.
